With BG1NPC is a bit shitty that Ajantis dies in BG2 if you were having a romance in BG1.

FIX THIS PLEASE. :cheers:

You can keep Ajantis using BGT Tweaks. BG1NPC interactions should continue into BG2. I'm hoping so, as I'll be there in a couple of months.

The truth of Azazello's statement about BG1 NPC Project material depends on which version you are using. Because failure to include a check for the end of BG1 has resulted in some flaky, and undesired, behavior, the newer versions include a check for the end of BG1.

So, if you didn't see it in BG1, you aren't going to see it.

Yes, whoever was adding those ENDOFBG1 checks to BG1NPC files was very thorough - they're everywhere, even in some cutscene scripts which have zero chance to ever be called in BG2. So I wouldn't count on any BG1NPC talks after making BGT transition.

Yeah, it will be nice to see old AJ in the game again, eventually.

Sure wish I wasn't monolingual!

Pity. So sad. Im gonna uninstall BG1NPC -right- -now-.

Ha! right!

I guess the team that made BG1NPC really wanted it to be BG1NPC.

Will version 12 extend into BG2?

Yeah, I guess "BG2 NPC" is the other mod, or, rather, a collection of mods - like the Banter Pack, IEP in progress here, or the many other NPC-related mods - Corthala Romantique, Sarevok Relationship, Edwin Romance, etc.

You could say that "BG1 NPC in BG2" is partly available, since some BG1 characters, such as Alora and Kivan, are being available as stand-alone mods.

There will be an English version of BG2 Ajantis, even if it isn't simultaneous with the German version.

I'd love to see Ajantis in BG2. Of course, I haven't finished his BG1 romance so I don't know if he turns into a jerk or not. If he does and I'm too mad at him, I may just kill him myself in BG2! Oh, wait, I already do! : )
Seriously, I would like to see this project completed soon!

Hee, I remember one 'compatibility' of German version of Dungeon Be Gone; I almost fell from my chair when I read first

@9 = ~Cool. Beam me up, Scotty.~

and then

@9 = ~Cool. Ab durch die Mitte.~

And no Scotty in German version :woot: :lol: It's really fun to see any translations into/from English :)

And yup! I want Ajantis in BG2, too! ^_^
Heck no, b - I used the word the way I use things like "twitter", and "iPod" - my first inclination is to ask "what birdcall are you studying?" and I think of "I pod, You (singular) pod, He pods, She pods, They pod, You (plural) pod, We pod..."
