I am about to make a complete run thru of BG2 again.

I really want to have a great experience with the game esp. with all the mods that are out there.
My PC will be a theif (not sure of kit just yet).

What would be the best mods to install?
I want the most I can get to really increase the game and experience.
Anything mods that add quest, items, game balance, theif kits or mods, banters, new areas, etc.

Please post in order of install for I am new to installing mods.

Again i want a very large game and best experience available for BG2: SOA and TOB.

Thanks in advance!

Look here for a complete list of Baldur's Gate mods

It includes pretty good descriptions of each mod. When you've decided which ones you'd like to try, post them here. I'm sure people will help with install orders and feedback ones you've chosen which mods you wan't to have a go at :)

Some of your mods are tweaks or fixes, you can (mostly) install them all the time :
BG2 FixPack
BG2 Tweaks
Refinements
Bersecker Minsc
Ashes of Ember
Virtue
Banters Pack

About "Worship the Unseeing Eye", you do know that it is a joke mod, right ?

About Neverending Journey, you want to play it alone, or perhaps with Improved Anvil and/or Tortured Souls if you like.

About Tortured Souls, The Darkest Day, Big Picture, Check the Bodies, Shadows over Soubar, this is called a mega-installation with very specific instructions you can find in the BP+BGT forum.

Anyway, you really should do a smaller selection of mods. Less mods = less problems. And I am sure there are mods you would like to have more than others. :)

Do any of the mods esp. the Tweak mods do the samething or if all installed adds something different and makes a real nice balanced game?
All mods listed will be compatible with TS and NeJ correct?

What would be order of installation for these mods if all compatible?

Thanks again in advance!

No. NEJ/TS is really meant to be enjoyed by itself. There are various mega-mod installations that include BGT/BP/NEJ/TS, etc, and you can find guidance on this very forum.

If you leave out Improved Anvil, NEJ/TS, you can install everything on your list, in an order that could best be recommended by someone else.

I am not saying that IA/NEJ/TS cannot be enjoyed with many of the mods on your list, but there are some complications.

Improved Anvil/NEJ/TS are tricky. The authors make compatibility claims that exclude many of your mods. These claims can be based on technical incompatibilities which will possibly render the game unplayable, or conceptual incompatibilities, which you might or might not even notice. I am not qualified to discuss this.

If I may make a recommendation, I would advise reading everything you can about mega installs, because that will talk about a lot of the issues you will have with NEJ/TS.

Sorry this is so vague, but I hope it helped at least marginally.
