Hi all,

I am sorry if these questions were already answered before but I couldnt find the answers.

I installed BGT 1.04 and it works great, but I have a problem when I put 1280x960 resolution that game is in that res but UI is in I think 640x480 or something like that. Can someone please help. It seems it works ok for 1024x768.

Also is there a way to turn on fog of war, or I just forgot that in Candlekeep it was not existant in original game also?

Thank you very much in advance,

Aarionn

Neither Baldur's Gate or Baldur's Gate II officially supports any resolutions higher than 800x600.

Yes, I know it doesn't officialy support this resolutions, but I never had this problem before. I remumber playing on old crt 21" in 1600x1200 no problem.
Maybe it is a problem because I have 22" widescreen 1680x1050? Bah...

Maybe I will try to install it again.

But what about "fog of war"? Is there a way to put it back in game?

Thanks

EDIT: I forgot to emphasise that the game itself is working in 1280x960, but the UI stays in lower resolution. Maybe I messed that up?

Yes, but BG2 works well in 1024x768. Anything higher seems to create lots of problems, though.
French translator of: BG2 FixPack, BG2 Tweaks, Baldur's Gate Trilogy-WeiDU, BGT-Tweaks and some minor mods.

You are right. I think I will stick with 1024 res.

But still I need damn a fog of war :(

What mods do you have installed? Can you post your WeiDU log? It sounds like you have one of the Tweak packs "Major Areas Explored" components installed.

Thx all for respond.

I installed weidu with following mods:
- BG Goth
- BGT Tweak 1.6
- Shrines Call BGT
- Defjam d4 /experiance adjusment
- I started also GUI adjusment from weidu/ setupGUI.exe

Maybe it was in BGT Tweak? I just installed all there not looking at all.

Thx 1nce more.

Or you could be practical and cheat by making a few extra SCRL1D to reveal the maps, and by the way, it's not a fog of war that you quite surelly are talking about, cause the fog of war is the grayed area beyond your line of sight.

Deactivated account. The user today is known as The Imp.
