Seeing as how this mod expands a lot upon Mazzy I would expect that there would likely be mention of Mazzy's former beloved. So comes the question, was Patrick Human or Halfling?

Human:
He has some items, that logically a Halfling couldn't use, but Mazzy wields fine. Is there any other argument for him being Human?

Halfling:
Mazzy never really seemed one to romance a guy twice her size(weak but is it any weaker than the argument for him being human)

When asked about her past, MAZZY proudly states that she has spent numerous years adventuring around Amn with her other halfling comrades, basing out of her home town of Trademeet. The thought of Patrick and her other companions and their fates brings a shadow across her face, however. Mazzy is a dedicated servant of Arvoreen, the halfling god of war, and she resents the common perception by the bigger races that the stout folk cannot defend themselves or act with valor. If she could, Mazzy would be a paladin and battle against evil in Faerun with the full power of her god to aid her.

So what does this mod do for it?

I settled on Patrick being a halfling, and I invented a few halfling friends to be part of her adventuring group.

And I just had an idea: What does everyone think of shadows of these people appearing somewhere in the ruins?

I don't know. Mazzy having to beat her way through that many shadows of her companions. It'd wear down on her, but it'd make the meeting with Pat less dramatic. If perhaps they were all there with the Shade Lord... Otherwise let them just be more unnamed shades.

I think it's more poignant without them, honestly...

I think it's better if nothing more is said of Patrick *or* any companions, just to underline K'aeloree's point. Who could say it better than Mazzy? And she already does, in as much detail as she wants to use.

However considering Patrick was her beloved, you'd think that perhaps she would say more of him, especially if involved with the PC.

Her biography says halfling companions anyway, so Patrick is a halfling, indisputably
