ive past over 48 game hours already, and saved martin in kvatch. is there any mods that dont let it start? o.o i used the bsa coflict detector on obmm, and it didnt seem to conflict at all. my mods are:

woot that was alot of typing. any one know if any of those mods mess up SI?

I could easily travel to SI, without the quest ever appearing in my log, I just headed for the islannd and there I went. Did you try going there and force the quest to start?

Yes, sometimes I don't even get the pop-up message that says there's an island until I go out there. Just fast-travel to Bravil and look out towards the water, you should see a big statue on an island. Swim over there and the quest will start.

This may be irrelvant, but isn't Beautiful people NOT supposed to be used with Cosmetic complitation?


Oh yea, just swim on out there and it'll start up!

try going there.
my freind had lots of shimmering, invisible people, and exclamation points near the portal, and it turned out that obse, was causing it somehow, because he was only using deadly reflex, but he did get the rumor message, so i don't know why that happened

Oh yes that reminds me. You did upgrade to the new OBSE? The old one wont work with the new patch and SI.

I was having the missing textures problem, then downloaded the latest OBSE as recommended earlier in this thread...
Then, after installing it properly, I used the obse_launcher to load the game, went to the island, and still got this:
