Reason for this mod:

This mod was created to fill a request from MadCat221 to create a replacement Quinga bow for the Ayleid Meteoric Weapons mod.

It was also agreed that this bow would be made available as a separate release for those that just wanted the bow.


What It Does:

NOTES:
This is a 'Stand Alone' mod, and doesn't require any other mods to work.

These Quinga bows are sightly more durable than the their replacement counterparts, and carry no enchantments (figured you might want to add your own).

This mod places two new bows in game located in the two fire pits at the bottom of the Aylied ruin of Belda.

Though both of these bows are Quinga one is smooth (Fine Quinga Bow), and the other weathered and rough (Ancient Quinga Bow).

Belda is located about halfway between the Imperial city, and Cheydinhal just North of the Blue road.



Installation:

Unpack the archive. Drop the folder marked "Data" into your Oblivion Directory (where the Oblivion.exe is located).

Be sure and place a checkmark by "Nico's Quinga Bows.esp" in the data directory at Oblivion start-up.


Un-Installation:
_________________

Remove the checkmark from "Nico's Quinga Bows.esp".

If you'd also like to remove the files (not needed to disable the mod) they are located in folders marked "Nico's Quinga Bow" or "Quinga Bow" located in the meshes,and texture folders.


Known Issues:
______________

None that I know of as these files have different naming from the Quinga bow used in OOO, and Aylied Meteoric Weaponry mods.

This mod's files are also different naming than the replacement Quinga bow I created for those mods.

Long story short: This is a 'Stand Alone' mod that doesn't need those mods to work, and will not replace the Quinga bow that is included in them. If you'd like to replace the Quinga Bow included with those mods with this one please check the download site at TES, or PES for MAdCat221's replacer version.


Extras:

In the files you unpacked there is a folder marked 'Hints'. This folder contains pictures of the location of Belda, and of the bow's location within Belda.

Use these (or not) as you see fit.
