Readthis for 'The Bow of the Drow' by Nicoroshi version 1.2
____________________________________________________________
Reason for this mod:
_____________________
I've always wanted a bow like this for my character. The shape of Legloas bow from LOTR, but with an evil flare.
What this mod does:
____________________
This mod adds one 'Bow of the Drow' to the flowers growing by a rock near Alawen's home of Troll Candle Camp.
The bow is actually floating about eye level so DON"T look for it on the ground.
Installation:
______________
Unzip the .rar and drop the 'Data' folder into the Oblivion Directory (where the Oblivion.exe is located)
Remember to check 'The Bow of the Drow' .esp under data when you start up the game.
Uninstallation:
________________
Remove the checkmark from the .esp.
If you would like to delete the files they are all in folders marked "The Bow of the Drow", and located under meshes, and textures.
Known Issues:
______________
None that I know of.This is a unique mesh\texture\icon that isn't in the vanilla Oblivion or any mods as of the date of this readme so should not conflict with anything.
Note to Know issues:
_____________________
The black screen issue from version 1.0 has been repaired in version 1.1
Extras:
________
In the files you unzipped is a folder marked "Hints". This contains pictures of Troll Candle Camp location, and of the bow (in it's floating location).
Use these (or not) as you see fit.
Change Log:
____________
Version 1.0 Initial release.
version 1.1 repaired black screen when using HDR in 3rd person view.
version 1.2 replaced icon with a better one, and changed value to 5000 gold.
Thanks:
________
Big thanks to Windy from ESF for finding the easy way to map bowmorphs.
Author's note:
_______________
This bow does not count as a 'Fine Elven Bow' for the Master Trainers quest. Sorry.
Feel free to use this model\texture\icon as a modders resource so long as credit is given for my original work.
Enjoy.
