I just got Shivering Isles and reinstalled Oblivion, and remembered why I loved mods so much. The vanilla game just doesn't seem playable anymore. I remember I used to use mods like OOO and the like, but hell, I haven't a clue what's still updated, and what's worth getting. Any ideas and suggestion on what I should be grabbing before i start playing again?

P.S. I apologize if this doesn't belong here, but looking at the screenshots sections, yall have some pretty kickass mods!

Rather than starting a new thread I thought I would post this suggestion that maybe someone who knows something about Oblivion mods (made by gaming forums and any other out there that's made) can gather a list and sticky a thread with all the mods out there, which group/person is it made by, general idea behind the mod and then put a link to get the mod. I'm asking this because I know absolutely nothing about the Oblivion mods but would really like to try them (especially since I get a decent computer coming on Friday ) and don't know where to start and what's out there. This way you can help out newbies like me and those returning and may not be uptodate with what's out like Kraki.

Would be absolutely smashing if anyone can help out with this, cheers.

Well, for overhauls, I'd personally recommend FCOM: Convergence (http://devnull.devak...com/convergence) Its a combination of pretty much all of them overhauls, and its /brilliant/.

Deadly reflex, FCOM, Natural Habitat, Quarn's new poly mod (can't remeber the name!) and Streamline.

oh, and.. Atmospheric Weather System by HTF, and Storms and Sound by.. Deathless Aphrodite, i think it was.
