When an Oblivion gate accidently openend in Kalimdor, a platoon of night elves entered after fighting back the invading daedra. After closing the gate, they found themselves in Tamriel.
Since they had become completely severed from the life-giving energy of the moonwells, they were no longer immortal and were vulnerable to the elements.
They had shrunk in height and their skin had become a peach hue similar to most dwarves and humans.

(side note: I don't want to imply that they transformed the moment they appeared in Tamriel - I'm open for suggestions that help to avoid this possible misunderstanding)

Requirements:
Oblivion Patch 1.2.0.214 (Official 1.2 Patch)
Unofficial Oblivion Patch (recommended) or any other custom race fix

Beautiful People 2.2 or the Beautiful People (2.2) Soya Merge or Beautiful People 2.5
or any other modification(s) which include Nequam's Elaborate Eyes, Ren's Hair and Ren's Mystic Elves

Recommendations:
MD Natural Faces ( ! Just the textures and meshes, not the esp! ) with Dani's Beauty Patch 1.3

Installation:
Extract the data folder to [...] Bethesda Softworks/Oblivion/
Extract the esp file which matches your configuration and likings to [...] Bethesda Softworks/Oblivion/data
Start Oblivion Launcher, click 'Data Files', place a checkmark beside the .esp file.

Abbreviations in the plugin names:

bab = Compatible with bab rc1 and Exnem

bp_22 = Compatible with Beautiful People 2.2 and merges based on it as well as with some Elaborate Eyes versions

bp_25 = Compatible with Beautiful People 2.5

def = Compatible with Bethesda's default body

le = long ears; Spike's Night Elves ears, extra long

ne = normal ears; Spike's Night Elves ears, normal size like in Zombie 216's Night Elves release

To those who run Exnem's replacer:
please use one of the bab labeled plugins - with the def (default) plugins you would get odd results, since they are linked to handfemale.dds instead of footfemale.dds

New Race:
Moonwell Night Elves for either Exnem or Bab also require the meshes and textures from
Babe Hair: http://www.tessource.net/files/file.php?id=11210 (not the esp)
Then just install the extracted atchive of your choice and hit ok when asked to overwrite.

Uninstall:
1. Start Oblivion Launcher, click Data Files, uncheck the .esp file(s).
2. Delete the folder associated with the mod:
[...] /Oblivion/Data/Meshes/Characters/ MysticNE

Good to see you here too

I'd loved to release 2 or 3 tattooed versions of both the female and male
Mystic Night Elves each (face and body for Quarls bab textures and
Luchaires more hair bab body), but what I did with the gimp and paintshop
pro 7 all ended up in the shredder - dds files only parents could have loved

On the good side there was no need to rate it adult or mature then.

Once I get the knack, maybe there will be a seperate (adult) release
as well as one with face tattoos.
