BG2 mods only with BGT

I have already completed the BG1 component of of BGT. But, due to a reinstall needed I am wondering if I can install just BG1 with no extra mods (no SCS, Bonehill, etc...) and then of course install only BG2 ones (TDD, SOS,etc...)? Or if I even need to install BG1 or even BGT at all? Thank you
