Feedback for our lovely K'aeloree and his Iylos!

I was betatesting the mod, and I have to say it was great having a full and interesting character in ToB that brought some more depth to the extension. First of all - I loved the fact that you were able to make a lot choices according to your own tastes and playstyle during the installation. Also the choice between two portraits was nice (bwhahaha I made the other one >:D)

Iylos had some really cool items on him, I loved his item belt especially. The staff was a bit problematic, but I don't know if it's fixed now. The PC initiated talks were a lot of fun all through the game. I mean - have you ever seen any other mods where you can ask the character, "Do you like pastries?" The interjections are smart and well thought of, and Iylos feels like a whole character. The mod has been really well thought through, and Iylos is not one of those quickly hurdled up characters who are just fillers. No, he has meaning, gives depth to the Bhaalspawning business and Balthazar, and his talks are interesting.

I didn't get all the talks in the mod, probably because there are a quite many of them. Iylos is a good excuse for taking it a little slower in ToB and really concentrate on roleplaying, rather than just hacking through the other bhaalspawns and their armies.

All in all, one of the best mods for ToB I've seen so far. :)

Grunting is a perfectly acceptable reaction to being struck with a blunt instrument. -berelinde
And, just out of curiosity, my dear, what *are* you wearing? :D - Tempest to me.

And a fantastic portrait it is, Ilmatar! I'm glad you enjoyed the choices - I thought it would be best to let everyone decide their own playing style and have Iylos work with that, rather than the player being forced to play the way I do, which I strongly disagree with doing. I don't like to force things on a player, and I've tried my very best not to.

Iylos had some really cool items on him, I loved his item belt especially. The staff was a bit problematic, but I don't know if it's fixed now.

In the end I removed the Staff because there wasn't a way to make it work the way I wanted to, unfortunately. I'm very glad you enjoyed the other items - Azkyroth did a fantastic job making them and finding great images for them! I absolutely loved coming up with them, it was very enjoyable, and I'm glad someone else liked them.

The PC initiated talks were a lot of fun all through the game. I mean - have you ever seen any other mods where you can ask the character, "Do you like pastries?"

Those were a lot of fun; I wrote a lot of them in a notebook while I was out one day, and tried to think of all the questions I could. If anyone can think of some questions they would like to see, I'm happy to add them in, too :) So if there's anything you would like to know about him or his past - within reason, of course.

The interjections are smart and well thought of, and Iylos feels like a whole character. The mod has been really well thought through, and Iylos is not one of those quickly hurdled up characters who are just fillers. No, he has meaning, gives depth to the Bhaalspawning business and Balthazar, and his talks are interesting.

Depth was one of the things I tried to give, and I'm glad it worked well! I'm especially glad he gives that bit of extra depth to Balthazar, who is a character with an awful lot of potential and not much of it used.

I didn't get all the talks in the mod, probably because there are a quite many of them. Iylos is a good excuse for taking it a little slower in ToB and really concentrate on roleplaying, rather than just hacking through the other bhaalspawns and their armies.

Thank you! It's great to hear the 'taking it slower' thing, especially - I hope he was worth it! :)

If you don't mind terribly, which were your favourite talks or questions?
