I was wondering which mod is compatible with The Longer Road, that allows you to travel freely between BG I, TOTSC, SOA, and TOB. I'm sick of being stuck in the TOB world with a level 40 cleric/mage. I miss all of the cool things from SOA and BG I. Which mod would allow me to do this?

World Map
BGT
or
BP-BGT

or if there's something else, let me know. I have full installs, patches, etc for all the BG's. All help is greatly appreciated ^^

Well, there is no mod, to my knowledge, that would allow you to travel between these areas freely. Possibly with BGT, you could CLUAConsole (cheat) yourself between all the areas involved, but it would not let you travel across all the world normally. You would have to edit the worldmap yourself, and that requires some decent coding skills.

If you used the console to move the party between SoA areas and ToB areas, none of the party would make their interjections in the right spot and some of the quests that required a specific NPC would break, as party-joinables use different dialogue files in ToB than they do in SoA.

Neverending Journey (a BG2 mod) apparently let's you travel to BG1 areas, but I presume you have to have BGT installed in order to actually get to those areas.

How exactly do you install BGT? I have the .rar file on my computer, but I don't know what to do with it.

Extract the rar. file if the installer application is inside (use powerarchiver or something similar).
After that, run the installer and install it to your BG2 directory.
The readme should tell you the rest, just remember you need full installs of ALL games (BG1, BG2+TOB).
The file that would act as a convertor will not work however until you fiddle with the configure file in BGT's and get the source directories accurate. It should work after that.

You must have BG1 and BG1TotSC installed on full install, before you start.
You unpack it with WinRAR(go for example with the english version), and then you just install it like what ever other weidu mod(by clicking the .exe), first providing of course the path for the BG1/TotSC installation location. And then you just continue the prosidure(sp?) as it promps, and there you'll have it.(20mins later(estimate))
