Thanks. That's settled, then. :)

"Tyranny is a quiet thing at first, a prim and proper lady pursing her lips and shaking her head disapprovingly, asking, well what were you doing (wearing that dress, walking home at that hour, expressing those inappropriate thoughts) anyway? It's subtle and insidious, disguised as reasonable precautions which become more and more oppressive over time, until our lives are defined by the things we must avoid. She's easy enough to agree with, after all, she's only trying to help -- and yet she's one of the most dangerous influences we face, because if she prevails, it puts the raping, robbing, axe-wielding madmen of the world in complete control. Eventually they'll barely need to wield a thing, all they'll have to do is leer menacingly and we fall all over ourselves trying to placate them." -godlizard

Does anyone know whether the CTRL+T (move time up an hour) cheat also affects LOVETALK timers? That would mucho come in handy.

It's probably common knowledge around here, but the trick I usually use is to pause the game, then have dinner or do something else and then un-pause.
Most of the time, a romance talk will be triggered since the timer advances in Real Time as noted in the above post. Also, skipping time with the AdvanceRealTime made me miss a lovetalk in the Fade romance so I tend use the above trick instead.

Um, I've found that I don't have to go through all that hassle....I just jack my framerate up to 60, and it cuts the lovetalk time in half!

Is quite handy, I've found...especially on days when I don't have lots of time to devote to gaming.

It also has its own dedicated sticky post in the IE Modding Help forum.

So in other words, no, no one thinks there's any particular value in taking that information and posting it in a thread, perhaps stickied, perhaps with some similar information, in one of the modding forums here. All right then.

That's not how I understand the word 'local'. Even so, the IESDP is mentioned in two stickies in IE Modding Discussion and explicitly in IE Modding Help.

Ah, yes, so it does. I've had the IESDP on virtual speed dial for so long I haven't checked all the link threads. But there are some good, comprehensive ones in the IE Help and IE Tutorials areas, so I do generally go to them when I can't find what I'm looking for.
