Long time passed since I launched SK last time, but afair you should set game directory and restart it, then you'll be able to edit things

Sorry, Lt. Shocker, but I'm not sure I understand you completely, either.

What is the path to your BG2 SoA directory, starting at the drive prompt?
Where have you placed Shadowkeeper?

SK can be anywhere on your hard drive. I haven't got mine in my BG2 directory at all, and it still works just fine. *However,* my path to my game directory is the default settings, c:\Program Files\Black Isle\BGII - SoA.

I seem to remember configuring my BG2 path in SK the first time I attempted to run SK. Did you do that?

In principle, Shadow Keeper can find the game directory from the registry if you installed the game with the installer. Otherwise you can specify the game directory from the Settings menu in Shadow Keeper, option "Installation directory".
You don't need Shadow Keeper to be in the game directory but you need all the ".uld" files in the same directory as the exe.
