i did hit the exe file again last night (yes, i do have the worldmap), but I thought the only options it gave me were the load, skip or quit...i will try again when i get home...thanks again for the help!

And yes, it was the last thing I loaded...at least I am 99% sure....lol

ok, now i am getting pissed...arg....i uninstalled world map, and installed it again with the two files in place. It told me the saved games thing didn't work. Uninstalled again, added the rar for that. Still didn't work. Started an install, and accidentally closed the screen when it was asking me for the language. Now I can't install the worldmap cause it says there is already a mod being installed and I should wait till it is done...I have shut down my cpu twice, and it still thinks it is running. I don't see any process running. I am getting very frustrated....

I am going to go have dinner with the wife...when i get back, if there is no answer, I am just going to try a clean install. I don't think that will help my last problem though...arg....

Delete your WeiDU.lock file and try again. Use the .tp2 that is in the consolidated patch .rar archive. It is the one that will work with the saved game converter.

What is the name of your normally used save game folder and where are you copying them too in your BGII-SoA directory?

i found all the save files in the mpsave folder. I copied that from the previous install, along with the characters file, and then pasted that back in after the install was done. I copied them and put them back in the same place...just replaced the mpsave folder that was in the BGII section...

Replace your BP-BGT-Worldmap.tp2 with the one in the .rar archive and replace your BP-BGT_Worldmap/save/savegame.bat with the one in the .rar archive and give the map install a try. It might work, but i've never run a MPgame before so I can't test it.

WOOOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Ok, that didn't work...sort of. The problem is the batch files are looking in the save folder in the BGII tree, but my save games were in the mpsave folder. Well, I thought a save game is a save game, so I moved the files into the save folder, ran the script again, and it didn't like one of the save games, so i took that one out, uninstalled, ran the script and BINGO! Moved the games back to the mpsave folder, and it works!

I think that would be a great thing to put in a sticky somewhere so people that are playing multiplayer games can solve this problem too.

Thanks for all your help guys! Off to save the bear village....well, off to work first...already an hour late! Good thing I have a range of 3 hours that I can come in...just have to work an hour later now!
