So, I just managed to locate my good ol' 5 cd copy of Bg1 that I bought...whenever the game first came out, seems like years and years ago. Surprisingly enough it's in decent condition...except for cd4 which has a giant crack on it. Tales for some reason is in horrible condition too which is weird because I barely even remember using it, but that's kinda beside the point. Anyway...what I'm trying to do is open the files, extract whichever ones work and then hopefully find a kind soul who would be willing to send the ones that don't...which leads me to the making of this post. If someone with the 5 cd version would be so kind as to send me a few files...well, my email is nexvesica@hotmail.com or if someone could be equally as kind and send me a list of the files on cd4 so I can extract them...see the above email. I can only access them through searching otherwise 95% of the time my pc will just freeze. I'm hoping I can get this to work as I haven't seen Bg1 for sale in a long long time...would be nice to save some cash and the hassle of rocking ebay.

Not sure of your location in the world but you can buy the DVD pack "Baldur's Gate: The Original Saga combines the original Baldur's Gate and it's expansion, Tales Of The Sword Coast, into one package."
Less hassle than trying to wrestle with your discs, plus you avoid getting this thread locked due to request for questionable file-sharing.

Just to add that last year I bought a DVD compilation that also had BGII and ToB together with BG1 and TotSC. 10£ for all, an excellent bargain for me. Of course, I've heard of other packs with Torment, IWD or NWN and I was kind of sorry for not having seen them before buying, but then I figured I had made the best choice. I'll never have time to play other games, so :-D
