Alas, It seems that i've a bug in the lonley valley quest.
Despite the beginning was all right... I met Shaella for the second time then Brother Hasdar told me about asking Lobar in the low Lantern.
So I came to Lobar but here came a bug in the dial box. My PC says : "Welcome. We come here on business. We are interested in a certain book."
Then, nothing. This is the end of the dalog box. Lobar give me no answer.
So I don't want to re install all the mods. I'm fed up with this. Is there a way to pursue this quest by meeting Quepast the NPC Lobar whomm Lobar is supposed talking about.Where is this famous Quepast ?

Blushing Mermaid. Talk to him several times. There may be a global you need to set to get him to talk about the book of unknowing. I'll check tonight.

Edit** You'll Need to have this global set in your game: SetGlobal("TalkedToLobarMage","GLOBAL",1)

Sorry for grave digging, but because right now I was stumped here too I wanted to add that this Oupaste ist a SITTING person. I took me hitting the CLUA command CreateCreature("NTOUPAST") several times out of frustration till that finally dawned on me

Great, but I'm stuck again right away because there is no "Lonely Valley", "Deserted Pass", "South of Cloudpeaks" or whatever showing up on my map, even though I get the dialog with Oupaste and the info "Worldmap has been updated". Am I still missing something to go there?

Could anyone perhaps tell me the area code of whatever the map is that the demons are supposed to be found in?

You go to the most southern map, the one with Albert and his *doggie*. You go to the southern part of the river where there is an island between streams. You get a travel region (wheel symbol) on the southern edge of the map. There comes a series of smaller maps and then the demons.

 

BTW This is Northern Tales , not Dark Side...

The world map name of the area with the passage to the Lonely Valley is Fire Leaf Forest, as you said between the two streams. Just don't check for the transition area *exactly* at the border of the map, but maybe 1-2 cm above to find it.

 

And yes, this does indeed belong to the NTOTSC mod and not to DSOTSC. Is it possible to move it?
