Your choice. Mostly to fit BG2 style, but since we can provide alternate portraits these days, more than one approach is fine. My favorite portraist are "Plasmocat's BG1NPCs in BG2 style". But Hurd did an awesome set for Sheri, and I like lots of folks works - and most of all, I'm a dude. So choices had better be ruled by what rings the ladies' bells, so to speak.
2. Male or female? What race, age and character class, possibly alignment?
Male human fighter, dualclassable to the usual alternatives. Neutral good to neutral - possibly corruptable.
3. Describe the character's features (face, eyes, hair, clothing, etc)
Forgotten Realms meets Mr. Firehouse Calendar, March Entry (otherwise known as Mr. Right - or at least Mr. Right Now).
4. What color preferences do you have (skin, eyes, hair, armor, clothing, etc)?
Skin Color: tan to fair, unbearded/no moustache. Hair Color: brown / Eye Color: brown
5. Would you like a weapon, a spell effect or an item to be shown in the portrait? If so, what kind?
Armor is good. Weapons might restrict player choice, so metal armor or leather armor is good - BG2 style.
6. What kind of a background would you like?
Neutral, BG2 standard
7. What kind of an expression would you like the character to have? Dangerous, happy, serene, mysterious, playful, sad, etc etc?
Rough hewn, young, earnest. Looking for something that the ladies can't resist, but definitely more rough and ready rather than pretty.
8. Do you have a portrait you would like to be used as a model/reference picture (for pose, expression, looks, colors, etc...)? Post it here if you have!
I like this one, but frankly it may not translate into a BG2 look.
9. Should the artist post the portrait here, or PM or email it to you?
Post here is fine: small, medium, and large versions. More than one artist can be acommodated (I will attempt to match the avatar colors to the change if other artists have contrasting views).
10. Any deadlines?
When you feel inspired. It may be months before playtest, so for now he can use the Generic Young Earnest Paladin? that ships with BG/BG2.

Romance mod. Some minor adult content for the ladies. Bodice-ripper potential. Mod is in long term development. May not see light of day for months. Artists will be credited in the ReadMe, and a link to their home site/hosted works included as well. The installer will list
