Does that mean that If chloe mod does not detect kelsey, you can have both romances running?

Presumably no, this is cause the romance variable(Global or whatever) that they both check is the same, and if one changes it, the other can't and so...

You can run them side by side, no problem. Just don't install Romance Conflicts component of Crossmod Banter Pack, otherwise you won't be able to multiromance after one of the romances becomes committed.
