I posted this in the BGT forum before I realize I was playing in Check the Bodies. The link is posted below
Candlekeep Chores Problem
I would appreciate any help or suggestions. I just hope I do not need to start again.
Thanks:
Tom
Oh, if anyone knows how to move a post from one forum to another, I would also appreciate that information.

we have an other problem found in CtB chores. Can you confirm, that this is happen by you, too?
CTB chores is imcompleteable due to a bug in the area outside candlekeep that causes CTD when scrolling over towards the area where the cows are/phlidia and her book quest in Candlekeep.

Well my character is on day three. He has completed all the chores and went out to play with Imoen. They are playing tag. After chasing each other, they end up in front of the Bunkhouse. Neither speaks or does anything and I cannot control anything because this is a cut scene. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Tom
It's a known bug (see page 2 in Bugs Report). Well, you must not to play with Imoen, that's all.

I think Leomar is referring to a scrolling from left to right (vice-versa) in the map screen causes a CTD, not the tag scene. It seems to happen a lot with multi installs when one scrolls form the temple over to Winthrop's or similar variants. Does the crash happen in your game?
About the Imoen thing: Maybe I will try adding more cows (2 more) so they get milked faster in the other chore days. Day 1 is the shortest and that is when the cutscene works and it ends at the exact time to talk to Gorion. The others may not start at the correct time so it doesn't finish the routine.

Ah sorry, I didn't understand: my english isn't well

No it didn't happen in my game, but I'm not playing with a multi-install (I have only BG2 Fixpack, the Worldmap and CTB).

Glad that it is not just a flaw with the CtB mod. Maybe the area gets biffed to data folder and needs to stay in the override in a mega install.

Hoppy, thank you for your additional description about the Chores problem.Glad that it is not just a flaw with the CtB mod. Maybe the area gets biffed to data folder and needs to stay in the override in a mega install.
Have you biffed your megamod installation, too.
What is your opinion about the "End Biff"?
I mean to read that biffing is not good for some mods...

Jarno Mikkola has some tips about biffing the override. He used a code or came up with his own that may work better for the BWP.

Thanks for your information, Hoppy.Well I am not sure if CtB biffs its areas as well. I think the End Biff program is only really usable if it can be uninstalled (usin gthat option at install). Any biff tool that I have used to biff the whole override will be OK if the whole game works fine and areas or creatures do not need editing. Which is hardly ever the case. Large scripts that run constantly like the BALDUR.BCS work best in the data file. There is no need (if it works properly) to have it run in the override. The gameplay is too slow.
