Sorry to bump this older thread but I had a question about the changes to the mage book. If I recall correctly the old book could only display a maximum of 20 spells per level. Does this mod alter the mage book so that it can display more and if so, how many spells can now be visible?

I don't believe it does, as the number of spells displayed is hardcoded.

Shame on me, as I came across this mod only today! It's really amazing, and it works great along with the widescreen mod (provided that the W_GUI mod is installed first) as already said by Jarno.
It would be really great to see a "complete" version (i.e.: convert the other screens and the icons background too) of the mod, but I'll use it from now on as it is too.

I want do a Spanish version of this mod but I've some problems:



The problems are that some texts are cut:

HOJA DE PERSONA must be HOJA DE PERSONAJE

SUBIR DE NIVE must be SUBIR DE NIVEL

DESCRIPCIÓN DE PE must be DESCRIPCIÓN DE PERFIL



I know that I can fix it editing the original game-text but I want know if exist other way to fix it, like expand the text-slots.

Perhaps you could name the boxes otherwise or shorten it or do like this:

PERSONAJE HOJA
NIVEL SUBIR
PERFIL DESCRIPCIÓN

I think the best way for a new GUI is, to find a correct new description of each box, if the normal text is to long.

I can expand text area for 'HOJA DE PERSONAJE', but for the rest you will have to come up with some shorter versions.
Have you extracted REALMS.BAM and STONEBIG.BAM from spanish versions of IWD2?
