This may sound like a dumb question, but I've never used mods in BG2 before. I have a bunch of WeiDU mods installed and I need to format my hard drive and reinstall everything soon. If I reinstall BG2 and install the same mods as I previously had, will I run into any problems with my saved games? Or will I have to start a new game to ensure that everything in the game world is 100% as it was before? Thanks.

No problems.
If you backup your saved games, they will work fine.
Look at the file WeiDU.log (text file, word or notepad) to see exactly which mods/components you have installed.
