How do you do this part? I'm having difficulty moving fast enough to nail these guys.
Baruk Khazâd! Khazâd ai-mênu!

Oh, squiggly line in my eye fluid. I see you lurking there on the periphery of my vision. But when I try to look at you, you scurry away. Are you shy, squiggly line? Why only when I ignore you, do you return to the center of my eye? Oh, squiggly line, it's alright, you are forgiven.

Always start clicking your mouse like a madman as soon as it loads-the fighters initially come right at you, and you can often destroy a bunch in the first couple of seconds. Afterwards, I find it helpful to use the keyboard keys to rapidly rotate left and right to track fighters. Remember to lead your shots a little, and you should be fine.

"The righteous need not cower before the drumbeat of human progress. Though the song of yesterday fades into the challenge of tomorrow, God still watches and judges us. Evil lurks in the datalinks as it lurked in the streets of yesterday, but it was never the streets that were evil." - Sister Miriam Godwinson, Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri

What Tempest said. Start clicking as soon as you hear the sound (or even earlier); before the graphics have fully loaded. The game registers those shots even though you can't see them, and with a little luck, you'll be able to take down two or three before you can even see them.

Also, the fighters move in a fairly predictable pattern, too, so once you figure that out, you can anticipate where they're heading. When you know one of them is going to be in a specific spot in a matter of seconds, start "spamming" that area. When the fighter shows up, he'll be toast.

And yeah, again as Tempest said, the real key is to lead your shots a little. You need to hit where they're going to be, not where they're at.

If you're really having problems, wait till they actually make an attack run when they're usually moving nearly straight towards you. Easier targets that way :)

Also, I think there's a mod to make it easier (and for swoop racing).

Back from the brink.

Like RPGs? Like Star Wars? Think combining the two would be fun? Read Darths and Droids, and discover the line "Jar Jar, you're a genius".

These, in the day when heaven was falling,
The hour when earth's foundations fled,
Followed their mercenary calling
And took their wages and are dead.

Ironically, I had no problem with the swoop racing.

I have to admit, I'm very surprised this game requires some hand-eye coordination... most RPGs aren't like that.
