Happened 3 times when installing the game anew with mods. This last time i specifically followed a suggestion on the mod-install sequence by another player who apparently knows better, and i still got this disappointing bug. I am not sure if the Imoen romance mod causes this - but a hint it does is after Chloe joins and Imoen gains her 350k xp ( and loses the belt which has imoen's immortality coded), she ( imoen) will some time later initiate a talk about how you have rescued her from Spellhold.
I would very much appreciated if anyone could tell me a way around this if they know of any.
A curious thing to add is that the 2-nd install of the game and mods, i accidently had a single time ( out of 20 or so) where upon Joining Chloe did not eat Immy's belt and spit back XP. I cant see any way to replicate this as i do not know how i did it and if it is purely on chance ( unlikely since about 5% is hardly anything to count on)
