I'm having a problem using the Setup-BGT file. I've unzipped all the files i downloaded into my BG Folder. When i go to run Setup-BGT, it asks me what Language, so i hit 0 for English. When it asks me if i want to install, i hit Y for Yes. Then it asks me me to enter the full path to my Baldur's Gate Installation. So i then type in "E:\BG" without the quotes, it's the install path, and it says it's an Invalid Baldur's Gate Directory. Could it be messing up because i installed BG 1, BG 1: ToSC, BG 2 and BG 2: ToB on my secondary hard drive (E:)?

It shouldn't matter on which hard drive you install them, as long as they are in separate directories, and that the baldur.ini 's [Alias] 's direct to the right directories. Also they both need to be full/custom installs with all boxes checked. Example for the BG2:SoA+ToB in E:\BGII\
[Alias]

HD0:=E:\BGII\

CD1:=E:\BGII\CD1\

CD2:=E:\BGII\CD2\;E:\BGII\CD2\

CD3:=E:\BGII\CD3\

CD4:=E:\BGII\CD4\

CD5:=E:\BGII\CD5\

Hmm, people in the past have had this problem when one of their BG CDs was scratched and therefore couldn't copy one or more of the data files over.
It might be a bit tedious, but check that all these files are present in the E:\BG\data directory.

Yeah, the wierd thing is when i go to install BG 1 on to my E:\ Drive, i'm unable to do a full Custom install because it says i only have 600 Megabytes of free space on the harddrive, when i actually have over 6 Gigs left of free space on it.

Oh, plus when i play BG 1 normally, the sound is tweaking. Like it cuts off part of the speech of someone, or i don't hear it at all. My character says "It will be done." in the subtitles (Have them turned on) when i go to move him, but all i actually hear is "done." It does this on the sounds that monster's make as well. I'm also using Windows XP.

It gives you a warning, it doesn't say what you have, but that you could have not enough space, as it can't count it properly.
So just ignore the warning. <_<

Seconded. I too have had the installer complain about a lack of hard drive space. Just click the button that might as well be called "Install the damn thing anyway" and be done with it. :P

(On a somewhat related note, the back of the TotSC box mentions a "mysterious island". Am I the only person thoroughly disappointed to see - clearly worded - the phrase "Werewolf Island" in the installer? It's the mystery that never was!)

Just installed The Darkest Day to Baldur's Gate 2. And now it has similar sound problems as BG 1. I don't even hear the voice acting of Jon Irenicus when he performs "tests" on you while you're in the cell, i don't hear any voice acting at all except for the beginning of an actual conversation, and even then it sounds like they're talking through a tube.

Start > Run. Type in "dxdiag", click on the Sound tab and move the "Hardware Sound Acceleration Level" tab one or more notches towards the left. Click Exit, then try the game again.

The install warning issue is known. In the readme it tells you to ignore it.
The DirectX modification above should correct your sound problem, but again check the Post-installation notes on some other pointers on correcting sound issues with the game. It isn't specific to BGT.

Well, i just uninstalled BG 1 and TotSC. Then reinstalled both with Full Custom Installs. Went and ran Setup-BGT and it got found my BG directory, but while installing it said it had failed to find some files, thus it reverted my BG back to normal. I thought it might of been because i had The Darkest Day on my BG 2 or my BG 2 might of not been a Full Install. So i uninstalled BG 2 and ToB, and reinstalled them both on Full. Now i have the problem where it says i have an invalid directory again when i type in "E:\BG\" without the quotes. I've checked my Baldur.ini files and looked at the alias, and they're what they're supposed to be.

There isn't a need to change baldur.ini in any way.
Can you tell me the exact paths to your Baldur's Gate: Tales of the Sword Coast and Baldur's Gate II: Throne of Bhaal installations?
Also, check that you have chitin.key and BGMain2.exe in your Baldur's Gate: Tales of the Sword Coast directory.
