Well, I?m glad to say that our biweekly Fanart Challenge is up and running again and we?ll try to make it as interesting as it was under Ilmatar's supervision. Now, onto the challenge and more drawing!

#40 Challenge: Spells
Deadline: Friday, 7th September
Post your piece in this topic!

For this challenge we have Spells! Spells you like most, spells you hate, spells that are useless, overkill spells? In short, draw your favorite/least favorite NPC or PC cast spell and potentially the random consequences of it (yes, Nether scroll fiasco is perfectly acceptable)

You remember the drill I hope. You have two weeks time, and everything artistic goes as long as it's made by yourself.

I've played with Wild Mage only once, and I didn't get Gate with Wild Surge... And what wild surge in BG1, huh? This kit appeared only in ToB.

Yes, but I play BG1 with the BG2 engine, including kits.

btw since I'm a nerd I checked the ToB manual and... hey there are really some hilarious wild magic effects around... I wonder if there are people who play wild mage *seriously* and not just for seeing the mad things happen... ;-)

well I've been watching these forums for a while now and I just now made an account... so as for my first post I thought I may contribute to this lovely fanart challenge!
I know I'm not a very good artist, but I HAD to doodle this up after it happened in watchers keep.

PC and the wraith we were fighting. Actually, we were fighting a bunch of imps, but I had less luck doodling an imp than a wraith... so yeah...

...well, it's not a specific spell, but it's the whole reason anyone ever plays a mage. Don't try to deny it. :devil:

I agree. I'm desperate to play a Wild Mage, now. CC, your Pit Lord is adorable, and I just want to cuddle and cuddle him until I run out of blood. (Because, let's be honest, those spikey spikes would skewer me).

Vhaira, welcome to SHS. I love your PC's expression. And Xan ... dra's look of despair.

Lythari, as always, wonderful. Suddenly so much is explained! The flowery shower cap and rubber duck is the icing on the proverbial cake.
