Hey Vhaira! Welcome to Scribbles, and thanks for a very worthy, and very entertaining piece indeed. :) I liked the interaction between your characters, as well as the creative twist you brought to the dragon fighting. Just a little note... you could probably post them on Scribbles itself very easily by just copying and pasting the work. Other than that, I loved how well you included Xan into BGII, he really seemed to slot in seamlessly.

Thanks again for your little addition, and I hope to see you and your writing around! :D

Through lightning, travel shadow,
Through hell and all above,
Surviving sword and arrow,
Bound stronger by the love

And in the end a witness,
To where the death has lain,
Silent through the sorrow,
Where innocents lie slain

This will be cruel, but I hope you can take it, as constructive criticism.
Well, even though I don't think that Jaheira and the party could actually take Firkraag out, without a huge level advantage, items etc., and there was no hidden entrance to the top... the story was nice.

No doubt inspired by Kulyok's mod. :whistling:

PS: No offense taken, and we want more of your works Vhaira, to make them as holy as cheese. ^_^

Really, cause the moment I get 5th level spells he's not so difficult. (Lower Resistance for the win.)

Planning on reading this later this afternoon. :)

yes, I'm quite aware that there was no enterance to the top, that a party as low level as was displayed there could not kill firkraag (without SOMEBODY dying XD), and the inspiration from the Xan mod.
I tried to give it a more 'story-like' feel with the secret enterance and the apparently amazing luck of the party, if only to make it easier to write. I doubt that writing "Valygar did 15 damage, Jaheira did 12 damage, Xan's spell was innafective" over and over again wouldn't be as... good XD
Thanks Shadowhawke and Jarno for the reviews!

Welcome Vhaira,

I liked your story, it was very entertaining and quite enjoyable. Battle scenes are always a challenge.
And despite the technicality issues of level vs dragon, and secret entrances, mentioned by Jarno Mikkola,
IMHO, I thought it was written believably. After all it is fiction, true? (No offense intended Jarno  )

Hope to see more of your work, especially Vhaira & Xan.
