So I've got BGT up and running and so far I'm enjoying it. I have noticed a rather persistent issue, though, which is that the blacking out on the screens and maps is blocky. Additionally, the backgrounds for moving images such as bats, torches, and butterflies, as well as spells and blood splatter effects are solid black boxes. Likewise the Inventory GUI is funky, with item backgrounds blacked out and the images in item descriptions inverted.
