Hi everybody,
I encountered any problems installing the BGT mod, i read the Topic concerning the major installation problems and it seems that everything's fine, all those files (Area etc...) are in the Data folder so i dont understand why the process doesnt success fully.

it simply begins to say "unable to find..." then it forces to stop the program

here's my SETUP-BGT.DEBUG i hope you guys can help me

thanks in advance

Have you installed BG2 fix Pack before BGT? Did you do a full, clean and patched BG1 install?

That's a custom install with all the tags tagged. :whistling: And the G3Fixpack shouldn't be needed...

...

Are you sure you didn't have any mods installed in the original Baldur's Gate game, as the Debug says that the problem starts because of the AR7500.are file is Unknown area version...
[BGT/Modify/ARE/AR7500.are] ...
loaded, 14264 bytes
ERROR: [BGT/Modify/ARE/AR7500.are] -> [override] Patching Failed (COPY) (Failure("ADD_MAP_NOTE: Unknown area version 00000000"))
Stopping installation because of error...
If you are, I am sure Ascention64 will be here shortly.

First of all thanks for the replies,

I didn't install any mod, just bg1+tosc patched with the 5512 patch and Soa+tob with the 16498 european patch

I also added to the installation 2 translation: the first for tosc and the second for tob, but i don't think these influence on this problem, i have already done the same process for a friend and the game worked perfectly...

Well, if you did this before and it worked, then likely something got corrupted with your install. You might try a reinstall of BG1.

actually i have already tried about 3 or 4 times, i cannot realize why these problems only happen on my computer...

i have windows xp, i don't think there are other factors that could interfere...i will try to uninstall and reinstall all the pack another time anyway...
