Let's see... What's with the watermark? .p

Looks basically good, but I don't like the colors. Too much saturation and too much brightness on the green thingy, makes them colors clash I think. The lighting is also a bit too sharp, showing it's color only on the highest highlights. @_@

Like the smirk too. .p

EDIT: Also, the blue/red lighting does not hit the background or the scarf at all, makes it seem a bit detached. The light I mean.
Oh, and since the colors are also present in the pic as natural colors, well, they kinda drown in it. .p

@ Legion: while I was reading your comment I thought "WTF green? There's no green in the picture! No, wait, THAT green XD"
I didn't bother painting on the green because it was going be left out when resizing the picture ;-)

Uhm, you're right about light colors 'drowing', I should have used something creating a bigger contrast

How does it look now? (Don't mind the green collar thing)

Yeahh, that's better I'd say. :]

Still the nose piece of the helmet seems weird, as it doesn't really cover the nose much at all. But that's something with the overall high-arched eye-slots there so it'd be kinda hard to fix sensibly. .p

And:
OK. WTF. Spooky. When I scroll down to the picture, it appears normal, but when I scroll down just enough, a buncha clear white dots appear in the mouth, like lazily drawn evil teeth. xD
Fricken weird, never had any screen bugs like that before. xD

Started as a gift to Shae, it developed in something more complex.

The baatezu has blue reflections because:
1. It creates a strong contrast with the background and is good for composition
2. It comes from Cania (which is frozen)
3. Blue reflections make Valen look sexier (i.e. the guy in green armour)

Cool! They way you made the baatezu's skin is amazing! And the colors are great! Btw, it really makes a good contrast with the background!
PS: Have you used a brush for Valen's chain parts of the armor? Or how did you make that effect?

PS: Have you used a brush for Valen's chain parts of the armor? Or how did you make that effect?

I've used this brush from GIMP (I think Photoshop has a similar brush as well). I'm very fond of this brush, it helps me to add "noise" to the picture and make it looks more realistic.

I dunno, I've stared at that picture for so long that I'm not able to use my patented "Spot-mistakes-o-matic" anymore, even if I flip the picture horizontally DX

I don't remember seeing a brush like that in photoshop CS3, but i'll check it. Do you think such a brush could also be usefull in creating a dragons skin? I mean for the little parts where are needed tiny scales...

I really like the way you drew Ixbalam's hands and the colors you used in Solar. Great work on Nikajar'akkaroth (that's not an easy name lol), I'd love to see him colored!

I like spiky four armed demons he's an Abyssal demon and, techincally, one could say the Slayer is the manifestation of an Abyssal deity.
