not quite. (but it is October the 1st)

CONTAINS

· one set of attachable wings for elves
· one installer
· readme

WHAT THIS IS

This is a mod to add attachable wings to your game. They are an equipped item (such as a sword) and thus do not modify any animation slot whatsoever. They have the identifier 'ZW'.

WHAT THIS IS NOT

In its current form this implementation is not perfect. There are a few limitations concerned with using them. These are:

· Elves only
· Do not mix with swooshy robes, shields, bows and weapons in your left hand

Well, I've managed perplexed silence before, but I'm fairly certain this will go down in history as the one addition that will make this community hate me forevermore :P Hel-lo.

Now someone needs to make an Aerie mod that adds her wings. My idea is a major restoration spell (a quest to get the spell?) that restores her wings, but they are not (yet?) strong enough to let her fly. Maybe let her leap enough to get out of the way of a blow or breath weapon, so that they will lower her AC and better saves.

In case the BG2 game crashes, open up the 'baldur.ini' in your game folder, and under the [Program Options] section in the file, make a new line and type in 'Logging On=1' (without the '' quotes, unless the line is already there)... Save the file and exit. Now go back into the game and try to reproduce the crash. Then look in your game folder again for the Baldur.err file and open it with the Notepad to analyze its contents, or let us do it.

Always post the contents of your baldur.err in the case of crashes. I seem to be repeating this like 5 times every time I log on here :P.

As long as no one decides to re-attach wings to Aerie, these are excellent!

Clearly one would screw the dialogs, as she couldn't morn the loss anymore, thus the love would be gone, and we can't have that. :crying:

Most awesome!!!!!

Are there any elves in the game who could "legally" use wings, apart from the ambiguous case of Aerie?

Also, Erephine: this suggested me it may be possible to have mantles that actually show in BG2... do you think such a thing would be feasable?

A Megamod does not mean that you can play all of the mods or all of their content,
but you have more choices or paths through the game.

A like Aerie as she is. I personally wouldn't want to see a soppy quest to 'regain' her wings. That's my opinion, of course.
