I would install all you know you are going to need(all the )... the five might have been the optimum once, as you can't have more on your party, the lack of proper inter party relations with multiple mod NPCs, the quest mods come with plenty etc. just to not over crowd the none-biffed sound files.I'm going to install a megamod Bg2-install, but I seem to recall, ages back, someone stating on a Bg2-related forum that one should never install more than 5(?) NPC mods for some reason(slowing down the game-engine, perhaps?). Is this correct or can I get away with installing more? It's just that I want to play with differing group-alignments and don't want to have to uninstall/reinstall all over again to start off a new game.
Pst, wrong forum perhaps... the right one.

Technically, like Jarno has said, it's all about having as less MBs in override as possible. If you do intend to actually play all of NPC mods you want to install, then of course install them.Is this correct or can I get away with installing more?
