Hi everybody,

i translate the game to Hungarian, and i can't access the main menu text or any button text that's in the game interface (when you put Escape for Example).
How can i these access?
I can edit the dialogs, the items, spells etc. with simple Text editor, but with previous part of game isn't work.

Thanks for the help

These are probably referenced in the various .chu files, in 'Label' controls. From what it looks like, though, they just use strrefs in dialog.tlk, so you should just be able to search dialog.tlk for the string you want to change and edit that.

DLTCEP allows you to modify the CHU files. However, not all labels can be updated. I have spent countless hours trying to replace the version number of the game to the version of CA and the TP2 file always seems to ignore my changes. You can however change the words on the buttons of each screen. Load DTLCEP and try to play with some of the game's standard CHU files. To try different things, I merged in some of the IWD graphics into the BG2 game so we see a different menu screen in CA. I don't think anyone has written a tutorial on doing this. You just have to be willing to screw it up a few times before you get the hang of it.

Uhh, wrong game. Sorry.

Edit: Yeah, this modding community is mostly based around Infinity Engine games (Baldur's Gate, BG2, etc.), so you might have more luck enquiring at a Lionheart forum.

I split the topic in two from the previous thread to avoid confusion. The previous topic was about extracting maps to use for Classic Adventures, not modding Lionheart.
