It all started when I downloaded bg1tutu. I placed it in my SoA directory and ran it. It didn't install correctly, and I can't remember what the problem was exactly, but anyway, I ran the restore.exe and it failed. Ho hum. I deleted the bg1tutu files from my comp, and then Baldur's Gate 2 would no longer work. Bg1 would crash the second I finished creating a new character, and loading would crash it as well. I removed all of those files from my comp. The Programs List says it is still on my comp, and when I try to uninstall it, it complains that the uninstall file isn't there.
Confused, I tried to uninstall SoA (and ToB, which worked fine). SoA's uninstall didn't work. I removed all SoA/ToB files from my comp. Using Control Panel/Uninstall Programs I tried to remove it, but it jumps to 100% instantly. I try to re-install using the disc, and acording to it the game is already on my comp, and says I can playit. If I click this, the popup that tells you to configure the settings to your liking as this is your first time shows up. The configuration thing doesn't when I click to continue.

At the moment I feel like getting a stainless steel pole and shoving it roughly through the screen of my laptop. Someone please explain to my why I shouldn't. -_-
