Why, you may ask?
I'm using that portrait for a Kensai-Mage PC in a BGT game that will likely take me another half year to finish at the rate I'm able to play. He dual-wields swords. And the Garrick portrait works well with the human fighter or cleric avatar and the stock Bioware youth "What would you have me do?" soundset. But as he has grown more powerful as a mage, I like the idea of using the Avatar Morphing Script to give him a robed mage appearance. He looks pretty cool as a hooded mage dual-wielding swords. But then his clean cut youthful portrait doesn't match the mage avatar very well. As we know, the mage avatar has a beard.
So--hopefully a simple project for anyone who feels inclinded. And if it turns out nice, I expect a lot of players would enjoy have such a portrait to use for a young mage.

Lol, I didn't realize he'll be stroking his beard.
Oh, and with moustache please! As opposed to the style that literally looks more of a billygoat beard. Tnx again!

I have to agree that Bardess' version is comparatively more natural looking. Even to the point that it takes into account the direction of the light source on the (subject's) right side of the face. It looks like hair from his head (?) was copied to his face. Anyway, regardless of how it was done the appearance is seamless. That is awesome work.
I'm very happy with the current version, Bardess. But if you feel inspired to try making one with a fuller beard that'd be neat too. (As a somewhat more substantial beard would match the generic in-game mage avatar even better.)
Again, excellent work, and I can't thank you both enough!

Once we're on the subject of avoiding beatings, please don't beat me for tampering with your work a little (that your work was tampering with an existent portrait to begin with ease my guilty conscious somewhat

Anyhow, I'm far from a skilled picture manipulator but I like to play in Photoshop on occasion so I tried giving Bardess' version a fuller beard.
Once again, don't beat me over it. I'll tell.

Sammi's is growing on me, actually--the styling is kind of whimsical, I like it. Needs a little more work to make it look natural though.
Lol, I guess there's no end to the beard styles he could get. The way it's going, I'll come back to this thead in a week and he'll have a handlebar moustache, muttonchops, a Grizzly Adams beard, you name it.
