Is it possible to play the whole story in co-op multiplayer using the BG2 multiplayer module?

i dont see any reason why it shouldnt be possible. just bear in mind that "pause" function works in multi with a slight delay.

Sounds promising! You mean that there's a slight delay introduced in this mod, or in BG2 overall?

in multi yes - at least in BG2, cant remember if its in BG1 or BGT
its like a timer so you cant bash the spacebar to fast pausing and unpausing constantly. dont know why it exist anyway.

It is, just remember that you have to have the exact same mods installed in the exact same order with the exact same components for the game to even have a chance of working. That's a lot of exact sames. It might be easier copy the whole directory from one computer to another, and put them into the exact same directory...

Yeah, also, you get a lag from all computers except the host.

Also, you have to use Hamachi, or similar.

Thank you for the answers!

Ehm... get lag from all computers except host? How do you mean there? If you mean latency from client to server, I get it. But if you mean something that's special for BG, you've lost me.

It is latency, but the latency is worse for BG than say, a more modern MRPG. It is optimized for dialup, where you would expect this lag anyway.
