Don't worry, I won't go into any spoilers here. I have played most of the npc mods out there. I can say, without a single doubt, this is the most well written one of them all. Deva, if you're not writing professionally (for money), you need to be. I obviously love the banters and romances in the BG2 core game, but Ninde really does put them all to shame. If I have one complaint it is only that I wish Ninde would have even more interjections. It is also obvious from Ninde's story and banters, that Deva is all too familiar with the Forgotten Realms world (er Faerun). There are so many little nods and comments about various events, places, and people...it's mind-boggling. I love the Amn setting, but it's great to be reminded that it's only a (very) small part of that world. The writing is very witty, intelligent and engrossing. Oh and sexy as hell, too. If you don't give Ninde a try, you are truly doing yourself a disservice. I eagerly await the continuation/conclusion of Ninde's story in TOB. Take your time writing it....but not too much time. :)

P.S. I also want to thank you for something else...the Death spell. I've never really used it until Ninde. I despise Mind Flayers. I despise that encounter in the Underdark where you have to save Phaere from them and their Umber Hulks. I know I got lucky getting through their magic resistance, but I just had to laugh when I had everybody in the party buffing up, waiting on the horrible mind flayers to show up, only to have Ninde smirk and drop a Death bomb on the situation and instantly wipe out the entire opposing force. My main's just sitting there with all his mirror images up, stone-skinned, invisible...just looking around for something to stab.

Those particular mind flayers are treated by the game as 'summoned', so the Death Spell will always wipe them out.

Oh. Well. It's worked wonders in other situations as well. :P

:D

You absolute charmer! What a wonderful first review. Thanks! I'm writing a friendship talk for Ninde as we speak - who knows how long it'll be, but hopefully I won't keep you waiting to long.

Hope you don't mind me quoting this review here and there. Thanks again!
