Possible Bug with Dual-Classing Fighters

I was playing in Tutu (which may matter!) with multiple PC characters, and a human fighter among them meets ALL stat prerequisites to dual-class into Thief, but the dual-class option is completely greyed out.

After experimenting with Shadow Keeper by giving him the wisdom to dual-class to cleric, he was then allowed to dual-class, but only to cleric. Might this have something to with swashbucklers not being able to dual TO fighter?

Your Fighter (Artheloron) is Lawful Good which is a prohibited alignment for Thieves even in the unmodded game. That's why he can't dual class to a Thief.
