Hello, first of all you made a great mod regardless some bugs.

I will explain here my problem and my solution.

The problem is simple : I never found the letter on Tellis the advisor of the Garrotten mayorand without it i cant finish the plot nor i can get out the island.

I search everywhere and found nothing to help me on the web.

But i found the solution myself and give it to you :

first make sure you can access the console.To have it put Debug Mode=1 in Baldur.ini under [Program Options]

Then in game CTRL+SPACE and use this : CLUAConsole:CreateItem("BHNOTE1")

And now you can finish this mod.

CLUAConsole:CreateItem("BHNOTE1")

Could make a change log from the item... Like this: Get the latest WeiDU.exe to the game directory, make a 'results' directory, start the WeiDU.exe and push Enter about ten times until the console comes out, then insert this code in it, exactly.
--change-log bhnote1.itm --out results --out results/log.txt
Let it do it's job which takes few seconds(at most), and then go to the directory you made and open the log.txt file and copy/paste the content.

I'll take a look in game. BHTELLIS.CRE has the note on him in inventory slot #2, and it is droppable, so I'm not sure why you couldn't pick it up. Did you perhaps have it and report to Pelltar 1st? there is a bug where Pelltar takes the note if you report to him before confronting Qualton. I need to fix that dialog for Pelltar.

I dunno why but i cant make a log for BHNOTE1.itm.I have the latest WeiDU and write the code.
I try several times with no sucess , very frustrating. :wacko:

I think Tellis drop it and i miss the scroll , my team is very strong ( ~lv10) with the best equipment i could found, i kill all the orcs, guard and tellis in one fight (..lot of corpse..blood..cry..pain ...Fun !!) maybe i didnt loot the right corpse, and after some times everything disapears.

That's OK. You can also complete the main quest by taking Pelltar the Arness Documents. This will also allow you to be teleported back to the mainland. You just cant save Qualton.

I had the same problem while trying to run the changelog directly from the weidu.exe cmd window. Try opening a cmd window (on Vista, run "cmd.exe" in the start search, on XP I think it's MD-DOS Command Prompt under Accessories), then use "cd c:\games\BGII - SOA\" replacing c:\games\BGII - SOA\ with the exact path of where you installed BGII.
Then, run "weidu.exe --change-log bhnote1.itm --out results --out results/log.txt"

The problem probably is related to spaces in the BGII directory. I tried to do it like Jarno suggested and I had a "- SOA\ not a command" error, which means it stops considering the path to the first space.
All of the above must be considered totally IMHO.

That's because nothing changes the note itself. It's possible that BHTELLIS.cre was altered by something removing the item from his possession. Can you run the same test on BHTELLIS.cre?
