I actually wrote this a year ago right after the player interview with Chloe we hosted on IRC, when the mod was originally supposed to be "close to completion" and I was going to post it a day or two before the mod was going to be released. But, we all know how that went and here we are almost a year to the day after I wrote this and this time we actually are a day or two away from release, thus it is time to release it. I wrote this on 10th August, 2002... and here it is 8th August, 2002. So yeah, I know how long the mod has been waited for. Anyway... you all might get a kick out of this. And yes, I fully expect to see Chloe getting downloaded by you all in a day or two. I actualyl started this project 2 years ago almost to the day as well... gosh... I'm gunna cry. Anyway, here's the interview:

The real Chloe's bio, for all those interested.

Real name: Chloe Adams
Race: Digital Terran
Gender: Female
Previous roles: Juliet in the 1999 Digital Broadway musical "Montagues and Capulets". Village Girl #7 in Icewind Dale. Mary Margaret in the short-lived digital comedy "The Pixels".
Upcoming roles: Hippolyta in the digital mini-series production of "Sapphos", fanfiction appearances, and there's rumors of a Neverwinter Nights appearance.

A brief interview with Chloe, conducted by Anna O'Conner, reporter for Digital Entertainment Network.

Anna: Good day, ladies and gentlemen. It is my priviledge to introduce a lady that has taken the digital entertainment world by storm with her upcoming role as Chloe out of Akadia of the Yr'kai... wow what a mouthful, in Baldur's Gate 2, the Shadows of Amn! Let's welcome Chloe, everyone!
Chloe: Hi Anna, it's nice to see you. Hello everyone else as well!
Anna: So, let's get right down to the questions, shall we?
Chloe: That's what I'm here for, Anna.
Anna: Ok! Now, first off, your role in this game. Can you tell us about it?
Chloe: Sure. I play a warrior in the game, a kensai to be specific.
Anna: And what is that, Chloe?
Chloe: Oh, it's a warrior that fights without armor. Basically, one that specializes in dodging and quick attacks. It's hard to explain without going into detail about the Dungeon's and Dragons game system.
Anna: No need for that! I'm sure everyone reading this is at least somewhat familiar with that gaming system. Ok, so what else can you tell us about her?
Chloe: Well, she's the daughter of a goddess, for one.
Anna: And what's that like?
Chloe: I don't know, it barely comes up. I wanted to play up the whole demi-goddess thing, but Lucy wanted to stay away from that.
Anna: Lucy is the author of the mod, correct?
Chloe: Yeah. She can be a little demanding and a bit of a bitch at times, but she had some good ideas. Oh... do you think you can edit out that first part?
Anna: Sorry, Chloe. This is live!
Chloe: We're digital, Anna. Even if we are live you can still edit it. We're like a thousand times faster than fleshies.
Anna: Ok, next question! Your role in this game is basically inserted in to the pre-existing storyline. Were there any major re-writes? And how did the cast of the game feel about returning to their roles?
Chloe: ... You're just going to leave in that part about Lucy, aren't you? Damnit... oh well, she'll get over it. I might as well add that she's a flake while I'm at it.
Anna: Ahem... the question, Chloe?
Chloe: Hmm? Oh yes... sorry. No, there's no major changes to the story. Basically a number of additions, but there's really no plot changes. I mean, everything ends the same way... and most of the content is the same. Lucy is too lazy to do a complete re-write.
Anna: I think you mean she didn't want to, because she just wanted to add Chloe to the story, not re-make the story for Chloe...
Chloe: Yeah, that's what she tells everyone. Anyway, the cast were for the most part grateful for the extra work. There were a few exceptions... mostly those whose lives have taken a downward spiral since the game was first made.
Anna: Any examples you'd like to share?
Chloe: Well... I'm apparently already being sued by Mazzy for slander because of my comments about her in the online interview I did with the players last week. So, I'd rather not make any more comments about this matter.
Anna: Understood! Now, how did you get the role of Chloe? Did you have a lot of competition?
Chloe: Well, not really. There were a number of other ladies there... and for some reason a few men as well. But Lucy was very impressed with my audition and it was pretty much in the bag then.
Anna: But our reports suggest that Lucy originally wanted to go with a different actress, a one Aria Meadows, previously known for her work on Fallout 2 as the female protagonist. Word is that she was attacked by someone as she was leaving the audition by someone matching your description. Any comments on that?
Chloe: It's all lies. That bitch is just jealous that I got the job over here. As if she doesn't have enough fame already! People are STILL playing Fallout 2 after all these years! Can you believe that [censored]?!
Anna: Chloe... I'm not one to criticize, but this is a family show. Try to keep your language under control.
Chloe: Sorry, Anna. All I'll say is that I was chosen for the role over Aria. She was angry, obviously. Don't listen to a word that [censored] says. She's got no [censored] business saying [censored] like that! [Censored]!
Anna: Moving right along... how did your previous work prepare you for Chloe?
Chloe: Well, basically it just gave me some acting experience. None of my previous roles really compare to Chloe.
Anna: Ok, that's a fair response. Now... I hear you're going to be in the upcoming "Sapphos" playing on the Worldwide Digital Network next month?
Chloe: Yes. I'll be playing Hippolyta, which is one of the Greek Muses. Basically, I get to help inspire Sapphos to write some kinky lesbian poetry.
Anna: You seem to be developing quite a nitch for lesbian related roles. Any comment on that?
Chloe: Well, I've never really cared for mainstream stuff. I don't think I'm quite typecasted as a lesbian actress yet, especially considering that I'm not a lesbian.
Anna: Our sources say you are...
Chloe: Your sources are wrong. I don't limit myself to any particular gender. In fact, I've been known to pop up in a few people's fantasies as well. You all know who you are. (Grin)
Anna: Right... speaking of fantasies, there is also talk of you appearing in some fanfictions?
Chloe: It's possible. I'm not sure if Lucy will write any, but I've seen myself pop up in the thoughts of a few other people as well. I think they're waiting until they play the mod to get a better idea of my character, though.
Anna: That makes sense. That Beef guy, though... I hope he doesn't write that stuff down.
Chloe: Let's not go there, Anna. I'd rather not think about what's been swirling around in his mind.
Anna: Ha ha... right. So you're working with Lucy later on for the Baldur's Gate 2: Throne of Bhaal section of the Chloe mod. Has there been any talk of a Neverwinter Nights Chloe mod?
Chloe: Not by Lucy. She doesn't even have the game yet. And I don't know if she'd be up for writing another mod, to be honest. I'm sure she wouldn't have any problems with consulting with someone if they decided to try their hand at one, though.
Anna: My, doesn't that sound like a plug? Lucy told you to say that, fess up.
Chloe: You caught me, Anna. Hopefully my work on the Chloe mod will be more convincing. Haha
Anna: Right. Well, that's all the time we have for this segment. Perhaps you'll return for another segment if we have any more questions for you?
Chloe: Sure. So what are you doing after this? Want to have a bite to eat, maybe go dancing? (Smile)
Anna: ... Join us next time for Digital Entertainment Network's Interview. Until then, peace!

Save a vampire. Give blood.
