[Cal Jones]

I've had the odd CTD with Oblivion (usually on exiting the game, though on occassion, during gameplay). It's no biggy - most games do this once in a while.

Today I got one, reloaded, then noticed my character was missing half his armour. The parts he was missing were all daedric pieces I'd enchanted. Then I noticed all my home-made spells were gone along with all my home-made potions. Everything I'd made was missing. I looked at a few previous saves and they were gone in those as well.

I am running with no mods, and Kot9 and Shivering Isles installed.

Is this a known problem?

I'm not looking to get back my missing stuff (I cheated in new daedric pieces to replace those lost, but haven't re-enchanted them) but I'd like to avoid a repeat if possible.
