well, since i took qara into my party i'd a few surprises: the first is that i actually liked her - she's entraining and judging from her banter with khelgar and naskhee she acquired the fine art of insult her opponents without actually using any profane words. reminds me of one red mage...the fights with the people she pissed of are nice, i especially liked the second one.


my problem with her is that she is overpowered - since i took her from the sunken flagon where she was washing dishes to amend for her destructive behavior
she does most of the kills in my party, the others only serve as bodyguards who shield her so she could do her fire/acid spells...i didn't need to think about battle tactics anymore i admit it's a bit boring
the craziest is her fireball spell - she can cast it in the midst of my party fighting in close combat - only the enemies got hurt, my other party members, being in the epicenter of the explosion remain unaffected.
so my question is will the battles became more difficult, or with her battle always will be so easy? and are there other overpowered npc's in the game? i am currently in the end of act i

I'd say that the OC is not too difficult if you know how how to manage your party, though some fights in the later part of the game forced me to reload a couple of times.

If you want to make things more challenging, change the difficulty setting so area effect spells may hurt party members as well ;-)

changed the difficulty now the battles got more interesting - silly me, i didn't even thought about it , only adjusted the graphics options...
