If Ninde doesn't already have a string-fixer that includes SetPlayerSound(Myself,~Ninde~,NAME1) and SetPlayerSound(Myself,~Ninde~,NAME2), you could add it. Sometimes, that's all that's required to restore reinstallation-scrambled strings. I'd recommend using both the immersive "PID string-fixer," as in "Ninde, your voice sounds strange," and the hotkey one, usually K. That way, even if the strings are scrambled in the PID menu, you can still run the debugger. Sometimes, though, the strings stay scrambled, no matter what you do. A good way to tell is if it's just Ninde's lines that are messed up, a string fixer will usually do the trick. If *everybody's* lines are messed up, it will usually require clean reinstallation and a fresh game.
