Hello everybody, thanks for the great mod! I`m finally passing entire game from start to the finish and BGT is a great help!

My question is, will the NPC keep their stats in BG2?
Specifically, if I give Tome of Intelligence to Imoen, will she keep that Int 18 in BG2?
Because if she won`t, I`m taking it myself:)

Clean BGT install, no other mods.

Cheers!

Yes, the NPCs the get moved from BG1 to BG2 will keep stats and weapon skills. If you use an NPC mod that adds a BG1 NPC to BG2 then you would need to edit the NPC to what you had him in BG1. You really should use the BG2FixPack and you might want to use some of BGTTweaks and BG2Tweaks.

Thanks, Imoen and her intelligence are my only concerns for now. I intend to use the default party in BG2, at least for this time through:)

Does this also means that I have to dual Imoen to thief/mage manually while playing BG1? Or is it done automatically to ensure the story in BG2 is not broken? (I mean, it would sound pretty illogical to have Imoen arrested for being a magic user when she is not)

Yes, you need to manually change Imoen (if she is in your party), but no matter what she casts MM and gets taken even if she is only a thief (she must have learned a few tricks).

I'm going to start my yearly summer BG2 game, and I think this time I will play the BGT. I remember playing tutu a few years ago and enjoying it, and the thought of playing all the way through from candlekeep to becoming a god seems like a lot of fun. I remember downloading an excellent mod that added BG2 style party banters to the BG1 NPC's for tutu. Does BGT have this or will that same mod work?

I'm also curious as to what happens to the BG1 NPC's if I take somebody other than Imoen, Minsc, Jaheria, Edwin or Viconia with me from the BG1 portion of the game into BG2. Do the the BG1 NPCS have dialogue and interjections into the BG2 and ToB story as part of the BGT package, or will they just act like regular NPCs as if I had created the entire party in multiplayer? If they have no dialogue for the BG2 portion of the game, is there a mod out there that adds it?

It was probably the BG1 NPC project, so it also works in BGT too.

Well, there are few bg2 NPC mods made from the original BG1 npcs, but some are silent... to get the specifics, you need to ask if (NPC name) has added content, and what other mods you wish to install, as some of the megamods have remade BG1 NPCs, but they aren't all compatible, at least in the stricktest views... and then the NPC's stats transition will most likely not to happen, as the mods won't use the BG1 chars, but their own.
