CtB - Captured quest dilemma

Hello, can anyone tell me where is this door that requires the guildhouse key for it to open? I'm a tad tired of wandering around the docks looking for small spots I might have missed.

Edit : really, nobody knows? :| It's quite a gamebreaking hang with the no main character/bodhi quest on hold thingies.

I have never played the quest before but I am willing to help as there may be some end to this madness :crazy:

So is this where the PC is captured and you have to get into the guildhouse and all doors are locked?

If you have the guildhouse key can you use a save game editor and tell me the code for that item? I think it is not the one from the vanilla game but I will look at the areas to find what it opens.

I apologize for not knowing the whole quest but I do plan to fix any bugs and this is the best way to do it for now.


EDIT: Can you enter Renal Bloodscalp's guild at all??

So, i don't have acces to my computer with which I play BG2 at the moment and for a few weeks at that, so i can't tell you anything about the item ID.

Basically, after my character got captured, i went to see Bodhi but some other NPC told me as I entered the graveyard that i have to find mu character. If i tried to talk to bofhi i would only get some weird speech errors.
I walked around the whole docks area with no luck except the guildhouse where i can only acces the main floor. (if i try to go up the stairs I get a message that sais soemthing along the lines of "you can't run around the guildhouse with my main character imprisoned"). On the main floor, i killed the thiefs and that's where i got the guildhouse key.

After that I kept trying to unlock that hidden door in the wall on the main floor in the guildhouse but I get the same "don't run around" message.

Ok well we can put things together so when you get back to your game then hopefully you can solve and continue.

I did translate these pages with Google translator and it helps although there may be better software for translating if you wish.

Mad Martigan says that after the PC is captured go to the cemetary and find Hareishan near the north entrance (sounds like you did this) who tells you to go to the docks. Go talk to Parisa in the docks although the location could be random. The walkthrough said she was found in the Nowrthwest section and gives you a key to the dungeon (also he mentioned going into the guild and fighting some thieves which sounds like you did as well). The ending seems tricky as the translation doesn't give me much but says you can't get to the dungeon from the guild and going to a location approximately x=4450, y=1130. I looked at the map of the docks and I remembered an entrance all the way to the east which leads to the dungeon and matches those coordinates.

I know it is still cryptic but it gets you some lead. When you are back into playing we can try other things if that way doesn't work or I can look into some scripts more.

EDIT: I looked at Parisa and there is a unique key she has, CBCHDWKY. You can try CLUAConsole:CreateItem("CBSHDWKY") if you can't find her although you may just want to CLUA her (at night). Her code is CBSHDWKY as well, CLUAConsole:CreateCreature("CBSHDWKY") as I think you have the key from the vanilla game and that might not work.

Now we have options! :D

Quest is not corrupted. I've finished it without problems and CLUAing =)

Like you've said.

1. Go to Graveyard and talk to Hareishan (she stays on the western side of location)
2. Go to Docks and wait some time near the entrance of location, may be you'll ned to rest couple of times; then Parisa will appear and give you a key
3. Go to the North-East side of Docks and enter the door (you'll enter Shadow Thieves location, where later you'll need assasinate their leader)

If you kill all the thieves who want capture you (it's not difficult) and protect your main character from kidnapping there is dead end =(
You can not continue Bodhi's quest with docks(

I've added the correct variable to the *.dlg file from cutscene with kidnapping
and if you choose the way of fighting in the dialog the variable changes to that one if you finished "Captured!" quest
of course, if you'll be lucky to bit 14 shadow thieves =)

if you allow thieves to capture your main character you'll have to finish the quest like this

1. Go to Graveyard and talk to Hareishan (she stays on the western side of location)

So, if variable is from 1-9 you can't meet Mook and quest item for Bodhi.
I've changed it to 10 in first dialog from kidnapping cutscene in the dialog part when you can choose the way of fighting.
If you'll choose not to fight the variable will be from 1 to 9 (changes during quest's steps and finally become 10)
