This is what happened...after vhailor ended up killing trias, i walked into the portal. I got the fhjull cutscene, except he just stood there, and no dialog box appeared. Then out of nowhere i got a glitchly dialog of celestial fire asking me which form i wanted it to change into. I tried cancelling out of the dialog, but it kept looping(the dialog box kept appearing eventually, while my party was stuck). I ended up changing it into a hammer, after sometime the fhjull cutscene finally worked properly and i portaled back to the hive.

Now i noticed that all the items that i can "use" such as the modrune cube, portal lens and justifier can no longer be used...nothing happens when i click use or talk. I just get shoved back to the game screen and TNO just stands there with nothing happening.

The first part is a known issue which will be fixed in 4.0. It's a bug in the original game, not my mods... you just see it more with my mods installed due to the subtitled cutscenes component, because that mod creates the conditions where the bug can happen more often.

Basically, if you talk to an item immediately before an occasion where the game initiates a dialogue (such as that cutscene), it screws up in exactly the way you described, where instead of getting the dialogue with Fhjull you get the dialogue with the item you talked to instead. For now, the fix is "don't do that". If you must talk to celestial fire and change it before entering the portal, just talk to any of your NPC's after talking to celestial fire... as long as an item wasn't the -very last dialogue- you had before entering the Fhjull cutscene, it'll play out fine.

Now, why would items no longer talk to you? I'm not sure, I -think- that's a separate problem that you just got coincidentally after the above problem. At any rate, if you can go back to a save game after killing Trias and before taking the portal, just do what I said above, get through the cutscene without the wrong-dialogue issue, and then see if you still have the can't-talk-to-item issue once you're back in Sigil. I think whatever causes that can't-talk-to-items issue is kinda random though, and can usually be fixed via a save/reload.
