BioWare has released a new DA: Origins trailer with developer commentary, including concept artists. In the trailer the devs (e.g. David Gaider) discuss the process of creating a living world, so to speak.
Most of the trailer is comprised of architectural designs, with some talk about the RL inspirations for them. If you're interested in the game's playing environment, I think you should watch this trailer.
