Hey Satori! Great to see you here in Scribbles. :D I have to say, it was awfully cruel of you to dangle such an interesting premise in front of us and then leave us waiting for the next chapter :P. I like the idea of a high level Imoen and PC character continuing their adventures, especially when it's done with an ingenious twist in a familiar location. Aside from a few spelling mistakes and switching between tenses, it was a nice, easy read that makes me incredibly curious as to who indeed disposed of Thalantyr. You have a nice, sardonic edge to your writing I can't wait to see more of. :D

So thanks for sharing, and I'm looking forwards to the next part! ^_^

Through lightning, travel shadow,
Through hell and all above,
Surviving sword and arrow,
Bound stronger by the love

***

And in the end a witness,
To where the death has lain,
Silent through the sorrow,
Where innocents lie slain

Yeah, realized after I posted that People would assume Rika was meant to be Charname. She's not.

Charname is a Half-Elf Bard, and appropriately epic (at least level 24, I'm being fairly nebulous about epic level stuff, to allow for it to be ruled by plot - I do have non-epic builds for all the people I'll be using, though).

Rika is level 19, and is a mix of classes best described by the phrase "+INT and +CHA to everything." Of the top of my head, she adds INT twice to initiative, and once to all DEX and STR checks, adds CHA to saves and AC, and gets a huge bonus based on CHA x "mod based on skill check" when doing an Iaijutsu strike. Oh, and can expend Inspiration to add INT to saves and attack.

Why yes, I did used to hang out on the 3.5 optimization boards, why do you ask?

EDIT: anyone want to beta?

EDIT2: Oh, and Thalantry isn't dead. He's a tough old SOB who survived being enslaved by something horribly evil and possessing at least demi-god level of power.
