Nothing happens when i click install...
I installed this already on my laptop which is Windows XP and so is this computer but for some reason it won't install on this computer...

Assuming you are talking about Desktop Computer, while yo already installed to a Laptop one......
Do you have a USB stick or the like temporal memory device? Cause you can copy the whole game directory from one computer to another and then use that as your base install, and if you don't wish to put it to the exact same directory in the second computer, you just have to edit the icewind.ini files [Alias] directory paths, and start the game from the IDMain.exe, not from the CDs auto-starter.
Now, are you sure you put the CD1 of the Icewind Dale in, so do not put the Heart of Winter CD in first...
