After a succesful installtion I run the baldur.exe and it just says i need to reinstall the game?
Any help would be appreciated.

Well, you need to start the game from the BGMain.exe .After a succesful installtion I run the baldur.exe and it just says i need to reinstall the game?
The reason why you do not have the game 'installed'(why you can only install from the baldur.exe) is that your computers register doesn't have the game signed as installed. You can play the game if you have a full copy and use the BGMain.exe, done it for years, and I have multiple copies.
